rationale for this site is simple. It provides an opportunity
for Kiwis to link up with other Kiwis who may be running their
own businesses in the same region as you; it gives you a chance
to build contacts with

If you are in business or managing a business then joining the site could provide you with new customers – since it has been my experience that doing business with a fellow countryman, 12,000 miles from home, has the added bonus that you have a shared heritage and something in common. It’s like doing business with a family member back home – and only a ‘ratbag’ would think of doing the dirty on a family member!

Recently I came across a fellow businessman in the UK whose mother had been in the same class as my sister in Wanganui, and whose uncles were in the same primary school classes as my brother and I. Small world!
As noted, membership is entirely free. Not only are you able to search the site by a member’s name but you can also search on any keyword. The more Kiwis who join, the more valuable the site becomes for all.
